Dean Sun Qiao Appointed as CAST-UN-CCAI Member and Delivers Keynote Report at the "2026 National New Quality Productivity and Intelligent Industry Development Conference"

From March 27 to 28, 2026, Professor Sun Qiao, Dean of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), was invited to attend the 2026 Annual Working Meeting of the China Association for Science and Technology United Nations Consultative Committee on AI Capacity Building (CAST-UN-CCAI). During the meeting, she joined other committee members in discussing the committee’s annual work priorities and future development directions. At this meeting, Dean Sun Qiao was officially appointed as a member of the CAST-UN-CCAI.

At the same time, Professor Sun Qiao was invited to attend the "2026 National New Quality Productivity and Intelligent Industry Development Conference & 2025 Chinese Association of Automation (CAA) Science and Technology Award Ceremony," hosted by the Chinese Association of Automation. She delivered a keynote report in the “Technological and Ecological Innovative Development of Low-Altitude Economy from the Perspective of New Quality Productivity” parallel forum. Her keynote report was entitled “From Dynamics to Digital Twins: Ensuring Mechanical Integrity in the Low-Altitude Economy”. In her report, Dean Sun provided a detailed introduction to the latest research achievements and practical applications of MUST in the field of low-altitude economy. She particularly highlighted the university’s progress and contributions in leading the drafting of 12 IEEE international standards.
