Faculty of Innovation Engineering - Academic Units - MUST-SUDA Joint Research Center for Advanced Functional Materials

On September 17, 2021, President Joseph Hun-wei Lee of Macau University of Science and Technology and President Sidong Xiong of Soochow University signed a cooperation agreement after in-depth communication and discussion on cooperation matters. Both parties agreed to jointly build the "MUST-SUDA Joint Research Center for Advanced Functional Materials" and jointly hang a plaque. The Institute of Functional Nano and Soft Materials (FUNSOM) of Soochow University is located in the Yangtze River Delta Integrated Development Demonstration Zone, and Macao Institute of Materials Science and Engineering (MIMSE) of Macau University of Science and Technology is located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Both parties have given full play to their respective location and disciplinary advantages and established a joint research center, which carry out comprehensive cooperation in research team, academic research, talent training, equipment platforms, technology transformation, etc. It will promote collaborative innovation and joint demonstrations between two districts in the field of advanced functional materials.
