Program Objectives
The Bachelor of Engineering in Interdisciplinary Engineering (Technology and Management) degree has the following Program Objectives:
Graduates will be successful in their technical careers as leading experts in combining the application of information technology, artificial intelligence, and industrial/business management.
Graduates can engage in system design, research and development, application promotion, engineering management, etc. in industrial and commercial areas driven by technology. An alternative pathway is to pursue postgraduate studies and eventually enter academia and research institutions.
Graduates will be effective communicators on technical issues and their social impact, and will become responsible and ethical professionals to society.
Graduates will be life-long learners who are prepared to tackle the challenges of the future.

Have a solid foundation in mathematics and science, be familiar with the principles of computers and artificial intelligence and have an in-depth grasp of professional knowledge in business and management.

Be a multi-functional talent who can combine interdisciplinary knowledge for innovation and practical application.
Be able to assess social, health, safety, legal, cultural, ethical and sustainability issues that arise in professional practice or in solving complex problems.
Be able to play the role of member or leader effectively in a diverse team to achieve common goals.
