On July 14, 2025, Chair Professor Joseph Hun-wei Lee, Vice Chancellor and President of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST), led a delegation to visit NetDragon Websoft Inc.(NetDragon), where they were warmly received by Dr. Simon Leung, Vice Chairman of NetDragon, Mr. Chen Hong, Senior Vice President of NetDragon, and Mr. Lin Tong, Vice President of NetDragon. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on promoting the deep integration of industry-academia-research collaboration.

Visit NetDragon’s Changle Campus Exhibition Hall

The delegation visited the exhibition hall at NetDragon’s Changle campus, exploring the company’s digital education and industry-education integration project. They gained detailed insights into NetDragon’s latest achievements in digital education product development and industry-education collaboration.

During the conference, both parties discussed frontier areas such as “AI + Education” and digital entertainment. They explored cooperation directions, including co-developing courses, development tools, and academic research, laying a solid foundation for future in-depth collaboration.

Remarks by President Joseph Hun-wei Lee

President Lee introduced a dual-track approach of “internationalization and industrialization.” He emphasized that the collaboration between MUST and NetDragon exemplifies the deep integration of cutting-edge technology and educational innovation. Thereafter, MUST will collaborate with French universities and leverage MUST’s national-level platforms to partner with NetDragon in establishing an AI Education Alliance to promote the global sharing of educational resources. On the industrialization front, MUST plans to reform its university preparatory curriculum by incorporating NetDragon’s AI courseware to enhance teaching efficiency and expand students’ academic pathways.

Dr. Simon Leung, Vice Chairman of NetDragon, highlighted the company’s advancements in “AI + Education.” He noted that NetDragon is actively responding to national initiatives by promoting the globalization of digital education and is committed to building a flexible, scalable AI education platform aligned with future professional talent development strategies. He expressed NetDragon’s eagerness to integrate resources with MUST to explore innovative models for AI-driven educational content creation, distribution, and application, providing technical support for a more equitable and high-quality education system.

During the conference, members of the MUST delegation shared their insights on “AI + Education” innovations, co-developing cutting-edge vocational training courses, collaborative technological breakthroughs, and joint research project applications. These discussions provided diverse perspectives for future cooperation.
