The finals of the "2025 Yuan Guang Cup Greater Bay Area Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Macao Computer Design Competition," sponsored by Yuan Guang Software and co-hosted by the Zhuhai Computer Federation, the Hong Kong New Emerging Technology Education Association, and the Macao Computer Society, were held from July 5 to 6 at Beijing Normal University (Zhuhai Campus). The team form the Faculty of Innovation Engineering of Macau University of Science and Technology performed exceptionally well in this competition, achieving outstanding results. The graduate team from the Faculty of Innovation Engineering - School of Computer Science and Engineering, consisting of Huiran Dou and Ruixiong Yang, won first place in the "Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Technology and Applications" category with their project "Bone Mask-Guided Cranial MRI to CT Synthesis System Based on Bidirectional Diffusion Bridge." Additionally, the undergraduate team from the Innovation Engineering College - School of Computer Science and Engineering, consisting of Jianxiang Li, Mu He, Yu Leng, and Xuhang Shen, won first place in the "Computer Software and Hardware Integration Technology and Applications" category with their project "Desktop Application Development for Handheld Stabilizers."

The theme of this competition is "Intelligent Innovation in the Greater Bay Area, Creating a Shared Future." It covers multiple cutting-edge fields such as artificial intelligence, big data, virtual reality, and game development, attracting numerous university teams from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area to participate. There are a total of 305 innovative projects and, after the preliminary selection, only 59 projects advanced to the finals. At the finals, participating teams showcased their innovative thinking and technical strength through impressive live presentations and rigorous defenses. The judging panel conducted a strict evaluation based on criteria such as innovation, technical difficulty, and application value, ultimately awarding special prizes, first prizes, second prizes, and third prizes.
