On May 28, 2026, Dr. Fang Lei (CEO of DataCanvas) and his delegation visited Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). They were warmly received by Prof, Pang Chuan (Vice President of MUST), Prof. Li Jianqing (Assistant Director of School of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Innovation Engineering), and Associate Professor Cheang Chak Fong (Laboratory Coordinator of School of Computer Science and Engineering, Faculty of Innovation Engineering).

During the meeting, Vice President Pang first extended a warm welcome to Dr. Fang and his delegation, and introduced the recent development directions of MUST and SCSE. Dr. Fang then provided a detailed overview of DataCanvas’s development and technical advantages in the industry. Both parties expressed high expectations for future industry-academia-research collaboration and agreed to use this sponsorship agreement as an opportunity to further deepen cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific research, and student internships, contributing to the future development of computing power.

After the meeting, Prof. Li and Dr. Fang formally signed the sponsorship agreement on behalf of both parties. DataCanvas will provide computing power resources to SCSE, fully supporting the diversified development of faculty members and students in research, teaching, and learning.
