On January 9, 2026, the Faculty of Innovation Engineering (“FIE”) at Macau University of Science and Technology and Xiading Technology Co., Ltd. (“Xiading”) formally signed a memorandum of cooperation. The signing was completed on behalf of both parties by Professor Sun Qiao, Dean of FIE, and Ms. Linda Yin, CEO of Xiading.
This cooperation aims to jointly explore innovative applications of smart technology in fields such as cultural tourism, education, and commerce, thereby contributing to the construction of a smart city in Macao and the high-quality development of its digital industries.
Leveraging their respective strengths, FIE and Xiading will promote the market-oriented implementation of scientific research achievements, jointly cultivate high-caliber technical talents, and work together to establish benchmarks for smart technology applications in Macao. We will explore new paths for the integrated development of smart cultural tourism, education, and commerce, injecting new vitality into Macao's digital economy. At the same time, this cooperation will further enrich the teaching resources of FIE, enhance the quality of talent cultivation, reserve a new generation of talent for Macao's scientific research endeavors, and support the long-term development of research, education, and smart industries in Macao.
