On April 19, 2024, Professor Huang Jing, Vice Dean from the Beijing Normal University at Zhuhai and her delegation visited Macau University of Science and Technology, with warmly welcomed by Chair Professor Zhang Du, Director of School of Computer Science and Engineering, Professor Li Jianqing , Assistant Director of the School of Computer Science and Engineering, and Professor Cai Zhanchuan, Assistant Director of the School of Computer Science and Engineering. Professor Huang Jing and her delegation visited the University’s History and Achievements Exhibition Hall, the Information Technology Exhibition Hall, the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences, and the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Traditional Chinese Medicine, followed by friendly discussions.
The discussion was chaired by Professor Cai Zhanchuan, Chair Professor Zhang Du extended a warm welcome to Professor Huang Jing's delegation and provided a brief overview of recent developments at the university and the School of Computer Science and Engineering. Professor Huang Jing praised the rapid development of the university and gave a detailed introduction to the Zhuhai campus of Beijing Normal University. Subsequently, the parties held lively discussions on personnel exchanges and future cooperation, aiming to further promote academic exchanges and mutual visits.
In addition to Professor Huang Jing, other visiting guests included Dr. Ye Mengjie from the Zhuhai campus of Beijing Normal University and seven outstanding students. Associate Professor U Kin Tak and Assistant Professor Ye Ben from School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Macau University of Science and Technology also participated in the reception.
