MUST School of Computer Science and Engineering Hosts Delegation from the College of Electronic Engineering of the National University of Defense Technology

On August 21, 2026, a delegation from the College of Electronic Engineering of the National University of Defense Technology (NUDT) visited the School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on talent cultivation, scientific research innovation, and academic cooperation, further strengthening ties and fostering collaboration between the two institutions.

The visiting delegation consisted of Professor Pan Zulie, Associate Professor An Yongwang, Associate Professor Lu Wen, Associate Professor Chen Yi, Deputy Director of Academic Affairs Zheng Chao, and Lecturer Luo Ming from the College of Electronic Countermeasures of NUDT. The delegation was received by Professor Li Jianqing, Assistant Director of SCSE, along with Assistant Professor Zhao Rui of SCSE.

During the visit, the delegation first toured the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine, where they gained insights into the University's latest achievements in traditional Chinese medicine research, technological innovation, and the commercialization of research outcomes. The delegation then visited the University History and Achievements Exhibition Hall and the University Library, obtaining a comprehensive understanding of MUST's development, educational accomplishments, and campus infrastructure.

The delegation subsequently visited the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences to learn about the University's significant research achievements in deep-space exploration as well as lunar and planetary sciences. In the afternoon, the delegation toured the MUST LIU’s Innovation Technology Center, where they explored developments in technological research and development, industry-academia-research collaboration, and exchanged views on technology application, innovation, and entrepreneurship ecosystem development.

Following the visits, both parties held a symposium to introduce their respective academic strengths, research platforms, and achievements in talent cultivation. Discussions focused on topics including electronic information technology, artificial intelligence, electronic countermeasure technologies, and interdisciplinary research collaboration. Both sides expressed their hope to further promote faculty and student exchanges, joint research initiatives, and academic cooperation in the future, with the shared goal of advancing high-level technological innovation and talent development.
