On the afternoon of January 24, 2024, the Faculty of Innovation Engineering held the "Technology Innovation Work Promotion Meeting and 2024 Scientific Research Fund Application Experience Sharing Meeting" in Room 309, Building C of the university. This event invited Mr. Xu Yuan from the Scientific Research Management Office, Innovation Engineering Chair Professor Li Zongjin from the Department of Engineering Science and Professor Li Yanqing from the School of Physics and Electronic Science of East China Normal University came to share their valuable experience in the field of scientific research fund applications. The sharing session was hosted by Professor Tang Jianxin, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, and attracted more than 20 teachers and postdoctoral researchers from the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, the Institute of Space Science, and the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
At this sharing meeting, Mr. Xu Yuan, as a representative of the Scientific Research Management Office, gave an in-depth introduction to the FDCT project application. He shared the key points that need to be paid attention to during the scientific research application process, and introduced the guidelines for filling out the FDCT application form and online system budget, so that participants can apply for scientific research projects more smoothly in the future.
Chair Professor Li Zongjin from the Department of Engineering Science of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering shared his successful experience and insights in applying for scientific research funds, providing valuable guidance and inspiration to the teaching and research staff present. Professor Li Yanqing from the School of Physics and Electronic Science of East China Normal University gave a report entitled "National Natural Science Foundation of China Application and Exchange", introducing the National Natural Science Foundation of China, international/regional cooperation and exchange projects, and sharing the experience in writing scientific research fund applications. matters needing attention. Through their own practical experience, the two professors shared the skills and key points of writing scientific research fund applications, and gave some suggestions to the participants, providing them with valuable reference and inspiration, allowing them to have a deeper understanding of applying for scientific research projects . understanding, but also stimulated their enthusiasm and creativity in scientific research applications.
