The 19th CCF International Conference on Service Science (ICSS) was held at the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) from May 15–17, 2026. The conference was sponsored by the China Computer Federation (CCF), co-organized by MUST and the CCF Technical Committee on Services Computing, and attracted over 150 scholars and students from the field of service computing, both domestically and internationally.

ICSS is a high-level international conference recommended by the China Computer Federation. The conference focuses on cutting-edge academic developments in the field of services computing, sharing the latest research results, innovative ideas, and learning methods in the domain. Professor Xiaofei Xu from Harbin Institute of Technology served as Honorary Chair of the conference. Professor Zhanchuan Cai from MUST and Professor Weizhi Meng from Lancaster University (UK) served as General Chairs. Professor Tao Zhang from MUST and Associate Professor Weiyi Shang from the University of Waterloo (Canada) served as Program Committee Co-Chairs. The conference received 91 research paper submissions — a record high in the history of ICSS — and accepted 33 high-quality papers, fully demonstrating the academic appeal and influence of ICSS in the field of services computing.
At the opening ceremony, Professor Chuan Pang, Vice President of MUST; Professor Zhongjie Wang, Director of the CCF Technical Committee on Services Computing; and Professor Xiaofei Xu, Honorary Chair of the conference delivered opening remarks. They elaborated on the origins, academic value, and industrial significance of the ICSS conference from different perspectives, extended warm congratulations on the successful convening of the conference, and expressed sincere welcome to all attending guests. They also shared insights on the future development directions of services computing, encouraging participants to make full use of this platform to deepen exchanges and cooperation, build consensus on innovation, and promote higher-quality development in the field of service science.

At the end of the opening ceremony, Professor Tao Zhang from Macau University of Science and Technology, Co-Chair of the Program Committee, provided a detailed introduction to the overall arrangements, agenda, and important notices of the conference.

The program included 5 parallel paper sessions, 3 academic forums, 1 education forum, 1 top conference and journal forum, and 1 young scientist forum. Five distinguished scientists and industry experts in services computing and related fields were invited to deliver keynote speeches: IEEE Fellow Professor Carl K. Chang (Iowa State University), IEEE Fellow Chair Professor Chengzhong Xu (University of Macau), IEEE Fellow Professor Hans-Arno Jacobsen (University of Toronto), Dr. Ennan Zhai (Director of Network Research at Alibaba Cloud), and Chair Professor Jian Yang (BNBU). Chair Professor Joseph Hun-wei Lee, Chairman of the Advisory Committee of MUST and Professor Jianqing Li, Assistant Director of School of Computer Science and Engineering, attended the welcome dinner and interacted with the guests.

The conference brought together leading researchers and industry professionals in services computing from around the world, significantly enhancing MUST's influence and reputation in the field. It also promoted domestic and international academic exchanges, strengthened communication and understanding between the university and top international universities and renowned IT companies, and laid a foundation for future collaboration.
