On the afternoon of September 25, 2025, a delegation led by Professor Liu Huafeng, Associate Dean of School of Mathematics and Statistics at Shandong Normal University (SNU), visited the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). The delegation was warmly received by Professor Ma Yibing, Head of the Department of Environmental Science and Engineering of Faculty of Innovation and Engineering, Chair Professor Li Zongjin, Associate Professor Gao Kaizhou and Assistant Professor Li Zhongjun, members of the Department of Engineering Science, Professor Feng Minqiang from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Associate Professor Xiao Xuanxuan from the School of Computer Science and Engineering.

The delegation first visited the MUST History and Achievements Exhibition Hall to gain a comprehensive understanding of the university's development and background. They then proceeded to the MUST LIU’s Innovation and Technology Center, where researchers from the Faculty of Innovative Engineering provided a thorough explanation of their scientific research developments and achievements, including the autonomous vehicle, Athena. Afterwards, they visited the National Observation and Research Station of Coastal Ecological Environments in Macao and the State Key Laboratory of Mechanism and Quality of Chinese Medicine. During these visits, they learned about the development and construction of the centers and laboratories, their research outcomes and applications, as well as future development directions.
