Solar Energy and Environmental Catalysis Laboratory
Location:
Zhuhai MUST Science and Technology Research Institute, 3rd Floor, Room 309.
Introduction:
Focusing on solar energy conversion and storage through nanocatalysis, including photocatalysis, photoelectrocatalysis, and photothermal catalysis, this laboratory excels in water splitting, sustainable ammonia synthesis, and selective hydrogen peroxide production. It integrates nanomaterial design, reaction mechanisms, and reactor systems engineering, bridging disciplines such as chemistry, physics, material science, quantum mechanics, and chemical engineering. Essential equipment includes photovoltaic conversion efficiency testing systems, photocatalytic reaction performance evaluation systems, and nanomaterial synthesis apparatus.
The primary research projects include:
1.Developing highly stable nano-oxide semiconductors from 2023 to 2026.
2.Developing preparation strategies for nanostructured photoactive materials during the same period.
3.Regulating photogenerated carriers in metal oxides from 2024 to 2026.
