The Joint Research Center for Frontier Technologies in Intelligent Aviation Simulation (FTIAS) is a strategic partnership between the Faculty of Innovation Engineering at the Macau University of Science and Technology and China Southern Airlines. The Center’s core research framework encompasses: AI-driven flight data analytics and automated pilot proficiency assessment; Multimodal sensory monitoring of pilot physiological and cognitive states; AI-powered personalized training feedback and intelligent decision support; High-fidelity 3D content generation and standardized encapsulation for immersive training; Multimodal vision-based perception (pose estimation, gesture recognition, and eye-tracking) and cognitive load modeling; Large Language Model (LLM)-based AI assessment agents integrated with industry-specific knowledge bases.
