2022 ~ Present, Intelligent Energy Management System Based on Environmental Awareness and Adaptation, funded by the Green Tech Fund of Hong Kong (RMB 5.0 million), responsible for communication signal processing architecture design and the implementation of AI algorithms in distributed energy regulation for smart energy management applications.
2019 ~ 2023, IoT Network Deployment Technical Guidelines and Standard Development Services, commissioned by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department (EMSD) of the Hong Kong SAR Government (RMB 5.8 million), project leader for technical route design, research implementation, and the development of IoT deployment and performance evaluation guidelines, with contributions to the IEEE P2668 IoT maturity assessment framework.
2018 ~ 2021, Smart Geotechnical Monitoring System, funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of Hong Kong (RMB 3.2 million), responsible for the design of the IoT communication layer and intelligent processing architecture, integrating AI-based anomaly detection algorithms for real-time geotechnical monitoring and early warning.
2017 ~ 2020, LoRa IoT Platform for Smart City Applications, funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of Hong Kong (RMB 4.3 million), responsible for system design and integration, and for establishing a LoRa communication performance evaluation framework based on the IEEE 2668 standard for smart city applications.
2016 ~ 2017, Remote Online Condition Monitoring and Fault Diagnosis System for Photovoltaic Farms, funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission (ITC) of Hong Kong (RMB 2.6 million), responsible for communication system architecture and data analysis module design, and involved in the development of an IoT-based energy monitoring and intelligent diagnostic system for photovoltaic farms.
