Held an Alumni Successful Story Sharing
To celebrate the 23rd anniversary of Macau University of Science and Technology, the School of Computer Science and Engineering held an alumni successful story sharing on April 19, 2023 in Lecture Hall N212, Block N. This sharing specially invited four alumni, Professor Bai Lu from Central University of Finance and Economics, Ms. Zhang Yu, partner of Shenzhen Zhongyi Union Intellectual Property Co., Ltd., Dr. Wang Junlin from Guangdong University of Technology, and Mr. Chong Chi Kuan, Marketing Director of Shenzhen Senge Data Technology Co., Ltd. share their own success stories. More than 70 professors and students from the School of Computer Science and Engineering attended the celebration.
Professor Bai Lu made a sharing entitled "Structural Pattern Recognition and Machine Learning". He first sorted out the development of theoretical research on structural pattern recognition and machine learning, and analyzed the theoretical characteristics and development status of related algorithms. Then, aiming at the theoretical difficulties and bottlenecks in existing research, he introduced his specific innovative research work in related directions, and gave several application examples in vision, finance and other scenarios.
Ms. Zhang Yu made a sharing entitled "Choice of Entrepreneurship and Persistence in Entrepreneurship". She shared some of her experience in corporate management from the aspects of "how to choose a track, how to manage yourself, how to manage employees, and how to protect corporate intellectual property rights".
Dr. Wang Junlin made a presentation entitled "Progress and Applications of Spintronics". The application prospect of spin random access memory in spintronics is not limited to traditional computer storage systems, but can also be extended to many other fields, and is expected to become a general-purpose memory. This report focuses on the research progress of spintronics and the application scenarios of spintronics.
Mr. Chong Chi Kuan made a sharing entitled "The mental journey of starting a business from MUST". He shared his entrepreneurial experience and hoped that the students of MUST could pass on his excellent entrepreneurial heritage.
