Gao Renjun, a year 3 student of Bachelor of Science major in Computer Science, was selected as a winner of the IET Prize 2024. The IET Hong Kong Annual General Meeting Dinner and award presentation ceremony was successfully held at Cordis Kowloon, Hong Kong on 16 December, 2024 at 8:30PM. Professor Li Xiaodong, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering of Macau University of Science and Technology, and award-winning student Gao Renjun were invited to attend the award ceremony.
Presented by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) Hong Kong, the IET Prize recognizes students who have outstanding academic results and are active in extra-curricular activities, engineering institutions, and community service. The prize delivers IET’s vision by underpinning its mission to inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community, supporting technology innovation to meet the needs of society.
Awardees will join the IET Hong Kong mentorship program to learn from senior members, share their experiences with other members, and serve as student ambassadors of IET Hong Kong.
