Recently, a undergraduate student from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, TANG Chao, was happily accepted into the University of Aberdeen, and directly admitted to the doctoral program with a full scholarship. His research direction is high power density electrical propulsion drives in airborne applications applied to aircraft.
TANG Chao graduated with a GPA of 3.56 from the Electronic and Information Engineering major. In his senior year project, he challenged himself and chose to enter Professor LI Xiao Dong's Power Electronics laboratory, starting from the basics in the field of power electronics. With his strong practical skills and creative thinking, he worked with his laboratory colleagues to make breakthroughs in the dynamic control modeling of phase shift-controlled DC-DC transformers. This solidified his foundation for being admitted to the direct PhD program at the University of Aberdeen.
We wish TANG Chao the best of luck in his future academic journey!
