Fudan University's Research Fellow Niu Junyu and her delegation visited the Macau University of Science and Technology
On July 19, 2024, Ms. Niu Junyu, a research fellow from the School of Computer Science at Fudan University, and the Director of the Digital Transformation Innovation Center at Zhuhai Fudan Innovation Research Institute, led a delegation visited the Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.), received a warm welcome by Professor Pang Chuan, vice president of M.U.S.T., Professor Li Jianqing, Assistant Director of the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, Professor Wang Jianzhou from the Department of Engineering Science, Associate Professor Liang Yanyan and Li Xianfeng from the School of Computer Science and Engineering.
Director Niu Junyu and her delegation visited M.U.S.T Liu’s Innovation and Technology Center, accompanied by Associate Professor Li Xianfeng. The delegation listened to presentations by laboratory staff about various topics including autonomous driving electric vehicles, new energy materials, and disease control warning systems. Dr. Niu was deeply impressed and gave positive feedback on the research work conducted by M.U.S.T. and M.U.S.T. Liu's Innovation and Technology Center. Afterward, both parties engaged in friendly discussions at the university.
During the discussions, Vice President Pang Chuan of M.U.S.T welcomed Dr. Niu Junyu and her delegation, and gave a brief introduction to the development and philosophy of M.U.S.T. Dr. Niu introduced the research direction, framework, project construction, and talent cultivation of the Digital Transformation Innovation Center at Zhuhai Fudan Innovation Research Institute. She highlighted the work content and accomplishments conducted based on platforms such as the Intelligent Tax Innovation Laboratory at the State Taxation Administration, Public Performance and Information Research Center at Fudan University, and Zhuhai Social Science Research Base (smart governance) in areas such as artificial intelligence-assisted scene generation to facilitate corporate digital transformation, think tank construction, and smart taxation research. Assistant Director Li Jianqing shared the background and development history of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, and its various research bases located in Macau and Zhuhai, as well as the ongoing research projects and industry-academic-research cooperation achievements. Both parties engaged in lively discussions on future directions for cooperation and research topics, aiming to further foster academic exchanges.
