FIIT Slovak University of Technology visited Macau University of Science and Technology

On the morning of March 20, a delegation from the FIIT Slovak University of Technology visited the Macau University of Science and Technology, with warmly welcomed by Joseph Hun Wei Lee, Vice Chancellor and President of M.U.S.T., Li Zhiwu, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, Zhang Du, Director of the School of Computer Science and Engineering of the Faculty of Innovation and Engineering, Li Jianqing, Assistant Dean of the School of Computer Science and Engineering of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, Wu Naiqi, Head of the Department of Engineering Science of the Faculty of Innovation Engineering, Chu Oi Mei, Head of the Academic Affairs Office, Iek Wai Seong, Head of the Registry, etc.

During the meeting, Vice Chancellor and President Joseph Hun Wei Lee extended a warm welcome to Dean of FIIT Slovak University of Technology, Ivan KOTULIAK and his delegation and gave a brief overview of the development of M.U.S.T. and its students. The two sides held heated discussions on future cooperation and other aspects. President Lee said that Macau University of Science and Technology was established in 2000 and has rapidly developed into the largest multi-disciplinary university in Macau. He believes that there is a lot of room for cooperation in deepening internationalization, and he look forward to and welcome international students from the FIIT Slovak University of Technology to come to Macau for exchange and further studies. Dean Ivan KOTULIAK and his delegation visited the University’s History and Achievements Exhibition Hall, the State Key Laboratory of Lunar and Planetary Sciences, the State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Open Intelligent Electric Vehicle Research Center (testing the self-driving car Athena), and the MUST LIU’s Innovation and Technology Center. He praised the rapid development of the university in recent years and deeply impressed by the fact that it is the largest comprehensive university in Macau. During this trip, he hoped to align the university with the channels for recruiting international students and seek cooperation opportunities.
