Large Laser Cutter and 5-Axis CNC Machining Center

Introduction:

Located in ITC-42 of the MUST LIU’S Innovation and Technology Center, the Maker Space is a professional fabrication space open to senior undergraduates, postgraduate students, and researchers. Equipped with various precision machining equipment. The Maker Space is divided into four functional zones: The digital manufacturing zone features a large laser cutter, 5-axis CNC machining center, and SLA 3D printer to meet high-precision processing needs; the traditional machining zone provides basic metalworking and woodworking capabilities with equipment including workbenches, lathes, and milling machines; the PCB processing zone supports circuit board production and modification; additionally, a dedicated quantum sensor research area has been specially established to provide exclusive experimental space for related research projects. To ensure safety, all users must complete safety training and pass equipment operation assessments before applying to use the relevant equipment.
