Brief introduction:
The laboratory for next generation Internet and artificial intelligence conducts interdisciplinary research. Its mission is novel network technology facilitating the deployment of artificial intelligence, as well as artificial intelligence technology targeting the network environment. The major research themes include network architectures supporting artificial intelligence and the Artificial Internet of Things (AIoT), high-performance software definition network data plane core technology, power network, mobile self-organization network and AIoT technology.
Hardware and software facilities:
The lab currently has 1 programmable software-defined network OpenMesh 100G switch, which can support the SDN software defined network high-performance data plane related research; 1 "PuSai" AI server with four 4090 GPU cards, 1 "PuSai" server with single A800 GPU card, two workstations with Nvidia RTX8000 high-performance AI workstations, which can support artificial intelligence-related research; Network simulation platform installed with the OVS software switch, which can can support the research of computing-power network; The self-developed heterogeneous simulation environment for flying ad-hoc networks consisting of UAV swarms, which can support the UAV self-organization network related research; One FPGA development board and Internet of Things development board, which can be used for hardware acceleration research of and the research of lightweight deep learning models for AIoT.
