A delegation from Dongguan University of Technology Visited Macau University of Science and Technology

On Nov. 5, 2024, Professor Huaqiang Yuan, Dean from the School of Computer Science and Technology at Dongguan University of Technology, visited Macau University of Science and Technology, with warmly welcomed by Professor Jianqing Li, Assistant Director of the School of Computer Science and Engineering and Professor Qinglin Zhao. Professor Huaqiang Yuan and his delegation visited the University’s History and Achievements Exhibition Hall and the Information Technology Exhibition Hall, followed by friendly discussions.

The discussion was chaired by Professor Jianqing LI. Professor LI extended a warm welcome to Professor Huaqiang Yuan's delegation and provided a brief overview of recent developments at the university and the School of Computer Science and Engineering. Professor Huaqiang Yuan praised the rapid development of the university and gave a detailed introduction to the School of Computer Science and Technology at Dongguan University of Technology. Subsequently, both parties engaged in a lively discussion on international exchanges, talent development, and advancing collaboration on key projects in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao region. They expressed a shared hope to further promote academic exchange and mutual visits between the two institutions.

In addition to Professor Huaqiang Yuan, other visiting guests included Professor Hongcheng Wang, Director of the Academic Affairs Department (Admissions Office) at Dongguan University of Technology; Professor Huan Li, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperation Department; Dr. Chuanli Cai, Director of the Finance Department; Professor Wenhong Wei, Director of the Modern Educational Technology Center; and Dr. Qingqi Zhong, Section Chief of the Modern Educational Technology Center.
